I am interested in the ways in which human rights law shapes domestic institutions and empowers (or not) activists. My current project investigates how human rights law facilitates reforms concerning solitary confinement in Taiwan, Denmark, and the US.
Before coming to Berkeley, I worked in a human rights organization in Taiwan.
