JSP faculty win prizes for their books, and JSP students win fellowships for their research, but the most important measure of achievement for a graduate program is its record of placement. About 75% of JSP graduates have gone on to academic jobs. Of those currently pursuing academic careers, 75% have tenured or tenure track positions. Of thirty JSP graduates in the past five years, fifteen have tenure-track positions, seven have postdoctoral or VAP positions, and six are not working in academia.
