Brico Job
Compliance Intern Job:
Location: Remote (United States)

About Brico:
Brico is on a mission to make financial licensing cheaper, faster, and more joyful. We help
fintechs, payments, lending, mortgage and crypto companies get and maintain the licenses
they need to operate—automating a complex, manual process that can otherwise take months
and cost a fortune. Backed by top investors, we’re building the licensing infrastructure for the
future of finance.

The Role:
We’re looking for a highly adaptable, detail-oriented Compliance Intern to help streamline
regulatory operations, support our Head of Compliance, and solve problems as they arise.
You’ll be wearing multiple hats, working across compliance and internal operations. This is an
opportunity to learn fast, take ownership, and directly impact the company’s growth.

What You’ll Do:
● Compliance Operations: Work closely with the Head of Compliance to track licensing
requirements, coordinate filings, and support customer meetings as necessary
● Regulatory Operations: Support the compliance team with with regulatory outreach,
clarifications and research
● Cross-functional Execution: Be ready to jump into high-priority projects—whether it’s
researching regulations or improving product with the engineering team
● Problem-Solving: If something is broken, figure out a way to fix it. If a process doesn’t
exist, create it.

Who You Are:
● A Self-Starter: You take initiative and don’t wait for instructions to solve problems.
● Adaptable & Resourceful: You thrive wearing multiple hats and can find creative
solutions to problems, even when no map or guidance has been provided before.
● Detail-Oriented: You care about the small things that make operations run smoothly,
even when details may be overlooked.
● Curious & Fast Learner: You don’t need to be an expert in compliance. You should
always be trying to learn and ask questions to grow your understanding.
● Strong Communicator: You have strong written and verbal communication skills that
allow you to communicate with a variety of people, whether it be people on other teams
or regulators.

What We’re Looking For:
● 1-3 years of experience in legal, regulatory, or compliance. Bonus points for previous
experience with government licensing work.
● Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills that allow you to
handle multiple fast-paced projects.
● Ability to learn new things quickly.
● Comfort with ambiguity—things move fast at Brico, and you should thrive in that
environment.

Why Join Brico?
● Growth Opportunity: Learn the foundations of how a business operates and innovates
at a fast-growing, well-funded startup.
● Make an Impact: Your work will directly shape the future of financial compliance.
● Build at Brico Speed: We thrive on urgency and tackling complex problems head-on.

Our team believes that speed and quality aren’t opposites — they’re the foundation of
innovation.
● Work with the Best: Collaborate with top-tier investors, regulators, and fintech leaders.
● Flexibility & Autonomy: We care about outcomes, not micromanagement.

If you’re excited about solving problems, learning on the fly, and building an industry-defining company, we’d love to hear from you!
