American Legal History
Michael Arjun Banerjee is a third-year Ph.D. student in Jurisprudence and Social Policy, studying American legal history. Before coming to Berkeley, he earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School, graduating in 2019. At Harvard, he served as a Student Attorney with the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and the Harvard Defenders. His research focuses on constitutions, corporations, and universities. His doctrinal interests include constitutional law, local government law, and property law.
