Hoopes joined the Berkeley Judicial Institute as the Director of Research in 2018 after completing a 2017-2018 United States Supreme Court Fellowship at the Federal Judicial Center in Washington, D.C. Prior to the fellowship, she clerked for the Honorable John T. Noonan of the Ninth Circuit, and was a litigation associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP.
