PhD Student in Jurisprudence and Social PolicyMy research focuses on settler assertions of sovereignty, with a focus on the Canadian context. I am interested in the histories and narratives of settler colonialism, together with the emotion bound up in these.

Past Experiences

Prior to beginning my PhD, I practiced as an Indigenous rights lawyer in Canada for many years, assisting First Nation communities with issues ranging from protecting sacred landscapes to defending harvesting rights to asserting self-governance and jurisdiction rights.
