Zoe Lee-Park

Zoe Lee-Park studies the environmental justice movement and the history of eugenics in the United States. She is particularly interested in how the legacies of past eugenics manifest in contemporary environmental injustices. Zoe studies how women of color have been the objects of these racist laws and policies, as well as the key leaders organizing against them.

Past Experience:

Before and during grad school, Zoe has worked at grassroots environmental justice nonprofits, and in federal and state government specifically for environmental justice. While at Yale, she led two environmental justice student groups, as well as the university-wide Asian Graduate Network.
