IIS invites you to a tailored workshop that not only emphasizes the importance of networking but also provides practical guidance on how to connect with industry professionals and expand your career opportunities. In this session, you'll learn proven strategies for building meaningful professional relationships both online and offline. Discover the value of informational interviews and how they can help you explore career paths, gain industry insights, and unlock potential job opportunities. This workshop will be led by Claudia Gey, Program Manager at IIS. With over 15 years of leadership experience in international education, non-profits, and start-ups, Claudia has coached individuals from diverse backgrounds, specializing in career development for the past 10 years. As a former director of a career pathway program, she designed training to help individuals overcome employment barriers and create actionable career plans. Claudia is also deeply involved in volunteering, offering career coaching to immigrants, refugees, and LGBTQ+ clients. She is a certified Co-Active (CTI) coach.
