6) Diversity in Pub Pol

Diversity in Pub Pol

Diversity in Public Policy is an organization on campus intended to create a community of support for students of color interested in public policy for careers in policy as well as admission to public policy graduate programs.

DIPP offers support like a mentorship program with graduate students at Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy, externship opportunities to shadow public policy professionals, admissions panels for MPP programs, faculty and student mixers, networking with policy professionals, and more.

This organization is the first of its kind for Berkeley undergraduates because there is a widespread lack of support for students of color at the undergraduate level in this field. This is a great opportunity for students of color interested in policy, law, government, advocacy, and just making a change. There are leadership positions available. Please fill out the short interest form tinyurl.com/DIPP2021 and email amarpreetkaur@berkeley.edu with any questions!
