1) APR for Legal Studies
APR for Legal Studies

The Legal Studies section in the APR (link at the bottom of the middle column on the 'My Academics' page in CalCentral) does NOT work and so is NOT an official record. It also does NOT auto-approve and is not used to determine if you've completed the major requirements. (Now that I've typed 'not' that many times, it's starting to not look like a real word. lol)
I will clear each Legal Studies student myself once you have completed all of your major requirements and are on the degree list (aka: your EGT).
The portions of the APR that do auto-approve and that do work properly, are the College and the University sections.
Just wanted to send that out because I'm getting a lot of questions about it.
Thanks!

4) Labor Su Intrnshp
Labor Su Intrnshp
My name is Devon Baker, and I am a Program Coordinator at the UC Berkeley Labor Center. I'm reaching out because we are recruiting interns for our upcoming Labor Summer Internship Program and are hoping to get the word out to your students. Labor Summer is a PAID internship that places college juniors, seniors, and grad students with labor unions and community organizations to learn organizing skills and build up the next generation of labor leaders. I have attached the flyer to this email for reference.
We were wondering if you could pass along this opportunity to your student contacts. Additionally, if there are any opportunities to present to a larger group of students affiliated with your group, we would be interested in that as well. It is a wonderful program--I was in the program myself two years ago and it really set me on a solid career path in the labor movement. I am happy to answer any questions from students at this email.
The deadline to apply is Feb 9th.
