PhD Student in Jurisprudence and Social Policy
I am pursuing a number of projects that consider the relationship between law, globalization and international order. First, I am studying the evolution of the postwar international order, with a particular focus on the international trade and monetary regimes. Second, I am studying the way in which different legal regimes are responding to climate change. Third, I am comparing the idea of competition in antitrust law with its uses in international trade law, and with broader views of competition in economics and international relations.
I am concurrently a JD student at NYU School of Law, where I completed my 2L before beginning my doctoral work. As a JD-PhD student, each project seeks to further understanding of law and its potential for shaping a more just and sustainable international system.
My recent work on the history of Bretton Woods -- in the context of recent debates about how to restructure economic multilateralism -- is available here.
