Brianne Felsher (they/them) is a PhD Candidate (ABD) in Jurisprudence and Social Policy. Their focus is on the legal history of how queer and trans people formed, maintained, conceptualized, and dissolved families. They examine how queer and trans people used private law, especially contracts, to formalize their relationships. They also
apply legal history to questions of trans constitutional law, especially Fourteenth Amendment jurisprudence.
