8) Splash
Splash
Hi everyone!
Have you ever wanted to share something you’re passionate about—whether it’s a hobby, an academic subject, or just a cool idea—with curious high school students? That’s exactly what Splash at Berkeley is all about. Splash is a one-day educational program where local high schoolers come to campus to take classes taught by Berkeley undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs. It’s a chance to design and teach a class on anything you care about while giving back to the community and inspiring the next generation of students. Classes can be anywhere from one to three hours long, and you can even co-teach with a friend.
This fall, Splash will take place on Sunday, November 9th, in person at Dwinelle Hall. Teacher registration is now open, and we’d love for you to join us! You can sign up to teach your class here:
Register to Teach – Fall 2025
The deadline to register is Saturday, October 4th @ 1 PM PST.
We also encourage you to share this opportunity with friends who might be interested in teaching. And if you’d like to get even more involved, consider joining the Splash admin team! Being an admin is what we like to call a “low-commitment, high-impact” role—just 1–2 hours a week helps us organize an incredible day of learning for high school students. If that sounds interesting, send us an email at splash.berkeley@gmail.com
Thanks for helping make Splash possible—we can’t wait to see what classes you come up with!
The Splash at Berkeley Team
