My name is Jack, and I am an editor at the Washington University Undergraduate Law Review (WUULR). We are currently accepting proposal submissions for our Fall 2025 edition and are interested in hearing from students at UC Berkeley. We hope you’ll share this opportunity with your student organization and its members.
Undergraduate students at any university are eligible to submit a proposal here before the October 3rd national deadline.
We want to give students the opportunity to make contributions to the field of legal writing and to be published. We are looking to publish submissions covering an array of law-related topics and perspectives, both domestically and internationally. Submissions could be analyses of ongoing legal issues, proposals/solutions to legal challenges, or predicting upcoming legal topics. Please note that our journal is NOT restricted to social science or humanities students: we solely require that submissions have a clear legal bent.
This is our website, and you can find out more about WUULR here. We have also attached a flyer that you can distribute in a physical space as well.
The global law firm DLA Piper sponsors two scholarship programs for student athletes (LEAP: Legal Elite Athlete Pipeline) and veterans (BRAVO: Building Relationships to Advance Veterans’ Opportunities) interested in attending law school.
We believe that student athletes and veterans have what it takes to succeed in law school and as lawyers - discipline, focus, resilience, and leadership. Our goal is to support the next generation of successful lawyers by providing opportunities to students who might otherwise not have considered a career in law.
In addition to $6,000 scholarships, DLA Piper offers mentoring and programming to help students with their law school journey.
Applications are now open through November 4.
