The play will be running every Sunday throughout the month of March, with some shows including post-show benefits and panels with various organizations, including Equal Rights Advocates, Women's Foundation California, and SF Women Against Rape. You can find more information about the show here. Tickets for students are $10 if they show the code STUDENT at checkout and bring an ID to the door.
Hello, my name is Adolfo Guzmán, and I am the field director for Andre Sandford’s campaign for California Assembly District 18 –encompasses Alameda, Oakland, Emeryville– and we have an amazing internship opportunity for our grassroots campaign.
Description:
We are currently seeking interns to assist in canvassing. The position would entail leading a field outreach team, educating the public on Andre’s campaign, acting as a campaign representative, helping in recruitment of volunteers, and the development and execution of canvassing strategies.
Ideal Candidates:
We seek politically aware interns who are interested in servicing the public, and social justice. Candidates must have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, must be goal-oriented, and can commit 5~10 hours a week.
Compensation:
The intern position is currently unpaid, but with the potential to become a paid internship dependent upon canvassing results and campaign fundraising.

- Summer Abroad Paris: Muslims in the West: Immigration, Refugees and Islamophobia
- Ethnic Studies N180: Muslims in the West (6 units)
- Highlights include engaging with high profile guest speakers located in France; meeting with recent immigrants, refugees, and community workers to understand the contemporary issues faced by Muslim communities in France; visiting significant locations associated with current Muslim communities in Paris; and visits to deconstruct critical collections in museums that formed and continue to shape the imaginary of the Muslim “other.”
- Summer Abroad Puebla: Entre dos Mundos/Between Two Worlds | Nauatl and Spanish languages, cultures, and histories
- Students take both Spanish 25: Reading & Analysis of Literary Texts (3 units) and Spanish 123: Mexican History, Language, and Culture (3 units)
- Highlights include increasing Spanish language speaking and writing proficiency while taking a core major course in the Berkeley Spanish Language Department; learning Nauatl and learning directly from Nauatl community leaders in Puebla; visiting important and historical sites in the cities of Cholula, Puebla and Mexico City; and more!
- All UC Berkeley Students and Students from all University of California Campuses who are admitted to the program will receive an automatic $2,000 scholarship!
- Summer Abroad Portugal: Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Europe
- ENGIN 183C: Challenge Lab (4 units) +
ENGIN 183B: Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship (2 units)= 6 units - Highlights include Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship (BMoE) - a hands-on leadership bootcamp that teaches you to innovate, take risks, and thrive under pressure.
