This program is well-suited for students who need Upper Division Writing, are interested in journalism or cultural writing, or are seeking a structured first international experience with strong academic support. Set in Edinburgh, Scotland’s cultural capital, students analyze Scotland’s layered histories, myths, and contemporary culture while producing reviews, travel writing, and feature journalism.
Location: Edinburgh, United Kingdom
Dates: June 20–July 18, 2026
Units: 8 quarter units in 4 weeks

  • Earn academic credit for the internship via a ten-week online course.

Stronach Prize
The Stronach Prize supports graduating Berkeley students who wish to pursue intellectually driven, socially engaged, and creative projects after graduation. Awarded up to $25,000, the Prize funds innovative work that promotes social consciousness and contributes to the public good—continuing Judith Lee Stronach’s legacy of activism, art, and education.

Open to Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 graduates from any major, the Prize invites proposals for public service, creative, or community-based research projects. Applicants are evaluated on the significance, creativity, and feasibility of their project, as well as their academic preparation.

Pre-Law Scholars Prog

Northwestern Latine Law Students Association (LLSA) has opened applications for our Pre-Law Scholars program!

We firmly believe scholarships like these are essential to building a more accessible and diverse legal field.  Selected LLSA Pre-Law Scholars will receive a fully funded LSAT preparation course and be paired with a law student mentor to support their journey.

UCDC Fa26 App Due 2/19
Each Fall and Spring, UC juniors and seniors from all majors have the opportunity to live, study, and intern in Washington, D.C. through the UCDC program. Students take classes and conduct research at the UC Washington Center—located just six blocks from the White House—while gaining firsthand professional experience in their field of interest.

UCDC combines academic coursework with real-world internships, allowing students to apply theory to practice, explore career pathways, and build valuable professional networks. Participants consistently describe the program as transformative, calling it “life-changing” and “instrumental in landing a job after graduation.”
